Sales Manager
Location: Bay Area, CA (Remote)
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday
Compensation: $175,000-$200,000/year DOE
Travel: Approximately 20%
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive business growth within the semiconductor industry. This role is responsible for identifying new customers, developing strategic relationships, and managing the sales process from opportunity identification through final equipment acceptance.
The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, experience selling capital equipment, and a proven track record of growing revenue within semiconductor manufacturing organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve sales goals within assigned territories and target markets
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities
- Build relationships with customers across engineering, operations, purchasing, and executive leadership teams
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through equipment sign-off
- Collaborate with factory teams, product engineering, and internal stakeholders to support customer requirements
- Accurately manage forecasts and communicate changes proactively
- Expand business within existing accounts while identifying opportunities for new product adoption
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and long-term account engagement
- Represent the company professionally in customer meetings, presentations, and negotiations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or a related technical field
- 5+ years of capital equipment sales experience
- Experience in outside sales or marketing management supporting semiconductor customers
- Strong ability to develop and manage customer relationships at multiple organizational levels
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and business development skills
- Ability to manage complex sales cycles and multiple opportunities simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in a technical discipline
- Semiconductor process engineering background
- Experience working with semiconductor manufacturers or semiconductor capital equipment suppliers
- Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and industry trends
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary of $175,000-$200,000 annually, depending on experience
